The Role

A Forward Deployed Analyst at TrueAi owns engagements end to end. You travel to client sites across the Kingdom. You sit with their people. You build a real understanding of how they operate. You bring that understanding back to TrueAi.

This is not consulting and it is not customer success. The work is investigative, technical, and held to a written standard. Each engagement makes the next one sharper.

What the Work Looks Like

A day might span any of the following. Walking into an organisation you have never seen before and developing a working understanding of it within hours, by asking the right questions of the right people. Sitting with an operations director long enough to hear what they actually mean, not what they first say. Working through data that arrives messy, partial, and inconsistent, and reasoning carefully about what it is and is not telling you. Writing for an audience of senior executives who do not have time for jargon and who will act on what you put in front of them. Travelling to Riyadh on a Tuesday morning and being in the room with executive leadership by noon. Reviewing your own work three times before it leaves your hands. Coming back to Khobar to write the post-engagement note that makes the next engagement sharper.

The work is not a clock-in clock-out role. The shape of every engagement is different. The discipline is the same.

What You Will Own

You lead engagements from start to finish, and through the relationship that continues afterwards.

At a high level:

• Preparation. Research the client's industry, sector dynamics, and operational context, until you understand how that kind of organisation works before you walk in.
• Discovery. Build a real picture of how the client operates by sitting with the right people and asking the right questions.
• Fieldwork. Work with whatever the client's reality requires. You are comfortable in environments that are messy, partial, and unfamiliar.
• Analysis. Apply TrueAi's analytical framework with discipline. Reason carefully about what the work supports and what it does not.
• Judgement. Decide what matters and what does not. Decide what to bring forward and what to set aside.
• AI as instrument. Work with agents, prompting, and model selection as part of your tradecraft. Treat AI as a force multiplier on your judgement. Review every output before it leaves your hands.
• Translation. Produce written and spoken explanations the client's leadership can hear, understand, and act on.
• Relationship. Manage the continuous engagement that follows the initial delivery.
• Presence. Sit with operations directors, finance controllers, IT teams, and executive leadership. Credible without being deferential, professional without being stiff.

How the Role Operates

The role operates on a deployment model. When an engagement is live, you are with the client, on-site or in the field, owning the delivery. Between engagements, you are at TrueAi headquarters preparing for what comes next: industry research, post-engagement reviews, contributions to the Company's accumulated body of work, readiness for the next deployment.

What You Must Bring

Experience

• Professional experience combining client engagement with structured analytical work. Backgrounds include management consulting, internal strategy and operations, technical solutions engineering, audit, business intelligence, or forward deployed roles at enterprise software companies.
• Demonstrated experience with messy, real-world data. You have worked with data from production systems, not just from training datasets.
• Writing for executive audiences. Documents and presentations that leaders read and acted on.
• Direct client work in the field, not only behind a desk.

Capability

Reasoning under ambiguity. You walk into a situation you have never seen, ask the right questions, and develop a working understanding within days.

Pattern recognition. You see the shape of how an organisation works, not only what it says about itself. You trust your instinct enough to investigate it.

Investigative discipline. When something does not look right, you dig. You do not file it under "interesting" and move on. You ask why, you trace it to its source, you bring back an answer.

Technical fluency without being an engineer. SQL, structured data, file formats, APIs at the consumer level, the basic shape of how systems hold data. You do not write production code. You can read it well enough to understand what it does.

Written precision. You write to be understood by busy executives. You eliminate jargon. You believe a clearly written paragraph is a form of respect for the reader's time.

AI fluency as a practitioner. You know the difference between models, you know when to reach for which one, and you treat AI as a force multiplier on your judgement, not a replacement for it. You do not let AI generate work you would not be able to defend in conversation.

Self-direction. You do not need a project plan to start working. You see what needs doing and you do it. When you reach a decision point that needs input, you bring a recommendation.

Seriousness. The work affects real organisations and real people. You bring that understanding to your daily conduct.

Conduct

• Based at TrueAi's Khobar headquarters when not deployed at a client site. Relocation is supported under TrueAi sponsorship for candidates outside the Kingdom.
• Willingness and ability to travel anywhere within the Kingdom at short notice when an engagement requires it.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English. Arabic is a strong asset and may be a deciding factor between otherwise comparable candidates.
• Alignment with TrueAi's professional standards, including workplace appearance and the conduct expected of someone representing the Company in senior rooms.

What Would Set You Apart

• Work in or with regulated industries: financial services, healthcare, energy, telecommunications, government. You understand what these sectors demand from a data partner.
• Experience at a company where you were one of the first analysts and helped define how the role was practised.
• A public body of work. Technical writing, analytical case studies, conference talks, or other evidence of how you think when no one is paying you to think.
• Direct experience with structured data analysis, classification systems, or methodologies for representing complex organisations in a consistent form.
• A forward deployed function at an enterprise software company, an AI lab, or a consulting firm with serious technical depth.
• Travel and work across the Gulf region. Commercial and cultural fluency.

What This Role Is Not

• A remote role. The role is on-site at TrueAi headquarters and on-site at client locations. No remote option.
• A consulting role with a playbook. There is no playbook here.
• A role with fixed scope and a predictable week. The shape of the work changes with every engagement.
• A coding role. There is a separate engineering function for the people who build the platform. This is not that role.
• A role where AI does the thinking for you. AI is part of how we work. The judgement is yours.
• A comfortable seat.

Preparation before action. We do not improvise our way through engagements. We research in advance and treat preparation as the foundation of every interaction with a client.

Discipline in execution. Every decision compounds. Sloppy work today becomes weaker work tomorrow.

Investigation, not delivery. We are not in the business of producing what was asked for. We are in the business of producing what was needed.

Proposals, not escalations. When the path is unclear, think harder, write down the options, bring a recommendation.
